My first year in the Riverside Twp. Public School District has been rewarding and exciting. As I look back over the school year, it is apparent that we collectively and collaboratively accomplished a lot together in a short time. Now it is time to turn our attention to the upcoming school year.
Here in Riverside, we know that a goal without a plan is nothing more than a wish. For that reason, we have worked hard this summer to map out our goals for the district and exactly how we plan to achieve them.
2022 - 2023 District Goals In the link below, please find the 2022 - 2023 District Goals. The goals were developed based on a review of internal school documents/reports, Riverside Twp. School District and Delanco School District academic data and overall current district needs. The district goals are just a small snapshot of the overall initiatives for the 2022 - 2023 school year but can give you an idea of how we are looking to build upon the rich tradition and success of the community. 
2022 - 2023 District Goals 
Many exciting new academic and extracurricular initiatives are being implemented in the 2022 - 2023 school year. Through grant funding and additional state aid, we added 29 new staff members for this school year! The new positions include: Full- time ESL Elementary Teacher, Full-time ESL Teacher shared between the Middle School and High School; Full-time Guidance Counselor shared between the Elementary School/Middle School; Full-time Basic Skills Teacher at the Elementary School; Full-time Spanish Teacher at the Elementary School; Full-time Special Education Teacher at the Elementary School; Full-time High School ESL Teacher; Full-time High School Computer Teacher; Full-time Art Teacher; Full- time Middle School Math Teacher;  Full-time Interpreter Clerk; Part-time Technology Assistant (IT Department); 6 additional PT Instructional Aides for the Elementary School; 8 PT Aide Monitors shared between the MS/HS; Full- time Central Registry position, Full-time Elementary Nurse Clerk and a 10 month Middle School Assistant Principal. Additional staff includes: Speech Language Therapist (increasing from two days a week to 5 days a week), Physical Therapist
(increasing from three days a week to 5 days a week), and BCBA (state board approved behavior analyst) moving from two days a week to 5 days a week.  In addition to the new staff, we are also thrilled to announce the launch of our new Ram-V (Virtual) Learning Program that offers RHS juniors and seniors the chance to take one of several courses not available at RHS through an online learning platform managed by one of our very own Riverside teachers.   New Clubs/Activities in 2022 - 2023: High School Girls High School Volleyball Team  High School Boys High School Volleyball Team  Middle School Track Team (Boys and Girls)  Middle School and High School Robotics Team Elementary School Intramural Sports Program Elementary STEM Club 
I look forward to continuing to work collaboratively with all stakeholders at the Riverside Township Public School District.
