Assistant Principal Trost's Message Grades 9-10

As we begin a new school year at Riverside, we are excited to embrace our theme: “Dream Big. Work Hard. Make it Happen.” This theme reminds us that every accomplishment starts with a goal, grows through consistent effort, and becomes reality when we stay focused and committed.

This is a year filled with opportunities to learn, grow, and discover what interests and motivates you. In the classroom, your teachers are here to challenge, support, and encourage you as you build the skills and habits that will help you succeed throughout high school and beyond. Every assignment completed, question asked, and challenge overcome brings you one step closer to achieving your goals.

Beyond the classroom, Riverside offers a wide variety of clubs, activities, and organizations where you can meet new people, explore your interests, develop new talents, and become an active part of our school community. Getting involved is one of the best ways to make meaningful connections and create experiences that will stay with you long after the school year ends.

As you begin this year, I encourage you to set goals for yourself, stay open to new opportunities, and challenge yourself to step outside of your comfort zone. The future is full of possibilities, and the choices you make each day can help turn your dreams into reality.
