Welcome to Riverside Elementary School!

Riverside Elementary is proud of our mission: “To work to ensure that all students achieve educational excellence. Through a strong sense of community, a rich curricular program, an inspiring learning atmosphere, and a commitment to character, Riverside Elementary will prepare its students to become strong participants and leaders in the world community.”

We want every Riverside student to believe in the possibilities ahead of them, understand the value of effort and perseverance, and develop the confidence to turn their goals into accomplishments. Whether students are learning a new skill, overcoming a challenge, helping a classmate, or discovering a new interest, we encourage them to dream boldly and take pride in the work required to succeed.

Riverside Elementary is committed to providing rigorous, engaging, and supportive academic programs that prepare our students for continued success. Our mathematics and language arts programs are aligned with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards and provide students with opportunities to think critically, solve problems, communicate effectively, and grow as independent learners. We recognize that every child is unique, and our instructional practices are designed to meet the individual strengths and needs of each student.

Education at Riverside extends beyond academics. We strive to develop responsible, respectful, and caring individuals who make thoughtful decisions and contribute positively to their school and community. Through character education, social-emotional learning, extracurricular activities, and meaningful family partnerships, we support the growth of the whole child.
