To start the registration process, click on the link... Genesis Open Registration.
****For students re-entering Riverside School District or who reside in Riverside and attend a private school, please call the Registrar before entering their information online.
STEP 2
After completing the registration online, if you did not already schedule an appointment, you will need to contact the Central Registrar, Erika Johnson at [email protected] to schedule an appointment to finalize your registration.
Required Information to Register Your Student
Preferred method of submitting information is to email Erika Johnson or upload the documents into Genesis Open Registration.
Copy of Birth Certificate or Passport
Immunization Record (Original Vaccine Document from a Medical facility at time of Registration appointment)
Immunization Requirements for ALL Students
Tuberculosis (TB) Mantoux Testing Requirements (Students entering Riverside Schools, from another country, MUST have a TB test done before registration is complete. Some countries may be exempt from this requirement, so please check with the Central Registrar).
3 Proofs of Residency
If you currently own a home in Riverside, please bring your mortgage/statement, deed or tax bill at the time of your registration appointment as well as two (2) documents, such as: utility bills, licenses, permits, insurance, car registration, voter registration, receipts, etc.
If you are leasing, bring a copy of the entire signed lease at the time of your registration appointment as well as two (2) other proofs such as: utility bills, licenses, permits, insurance, car registration, voter registration, receipts, etc.
If child and parent are moving in with a Riverside resident, please provide a copy of the lease, mortgage/statement, deed or tax bill of the Riverside resident as well as two (2) forms of proof of residency from the Riverside resident. Also, the forms below will need to be filled out and notarized.
If you will be supporting a child other than your own, provide three (3) forms of proof of residency as well as Legal Guardian documentation.
If Applicable - Custody/Guardianship Documentation if there is a Legal Restraining Order, Custody Order, Name Change or any other legal documentation.
Copy of New Jersey transfer card, if transferring from a New Jersey public school, with SID# (10 digits).
If Applicable - Copy of most current report card and standardized testing
If your child has an IEP (Individual Education Plan from the Child Study Team), bring the most current documentation.
STEP 3
Please print, complete and submit the forms under Pre-K - 5th Grade Registration to the left via email [email protected] or at the scheduled registration appointment.
