Congratulations Ms. Downey and Mrs. Clyde!!!

'Twas a festive Wednesday at Riverside Middle School in Room 107, where Ms. Downey and Mrs. Clyde embarked on a magical journey with their students. In the enchanting world of "The Great Gilly Hopkins," the classroom transformed into a literary haven. Excitement filled the air as context clues became treasure maps, guiding students through the rich vocabulary of the story. Ms. Downey and Mrs. Clyde, skilled storytellers, turned the classroom into a realm of literary discovery.
Amid this adventure, the physical classroom became a flexible and inviting space, shedding traditional seating arrangements. Students found comfort and inspiration in choosing their learning spots, fostering collaborative energy, and making each lesson a personalized journey. The room became a canvas where the art of education unfolded in innovative ways.
A token economy, akin to holiday tokens of appreciation, adorned the classroom, reinforcing positive behavior and cultivating a culture of kindness. As students collected their tokens, the air filled not only with the joy of learning but also with the joy of sharing and supporting one another. Riverside Middle School, on this special Wednesday, became a stage where the lessons of the heart were as prominent as the lessons in the books.
